| Have to give about a 60-40 edge to the home team tonight. To keep hope alive we need tonight's winner to lose at least 2 more (one of which needs to be to us). I'll be watching with real interest.

| I'm pulling for IU. Living here in Indy, I've kind of become a minor IU fan. I like Zeller and Olidepo (sp). | |

| IU is probably the team in the top half of the B1G that I find least objectionable. I'll be rooting for them. If I need a reason, I just tell myself we need to be ahead of MSU to secure our first two games at the palace in the big dance. | |

| I think a lot will depend on Oladipo's injury. He is supposed to play but will he be close to 100%. I am predicting a MSU win. Should be a good game though. | |

| Wow, those refs were so crooked tonight. Decide to ignore the dong punch by Nix even though they reviewed it, missed a blatant (even my wife saw it) travel by Nix in the last 30 seconds and decided to call a phantom foul on a 3-pointer with 10 seconds left. Gee, why is it so tough to win on the road in the Big Ten? | |

| I thought it was a good game, I thought it was called pretty fair. I hate sparty FWIW. | |

| I thought the officiating was awful also , but Sparty couldn't make free throws, still would rather see IU win the B1G than MSU so I'm okay with the results. Olidipo is a stud he has hops, and reads passes so well.

| I thought MSU got a fairly typical HC officiating edge. They play football out there. That could be an issue in the NCAA tourney.
Their lack of a point guard really hurts them. Appling is a skilled player but a PG he is not.

| As everyone knows I highly dislike the subject of this particular forum. That being said, yes I actually did watch parts of the game (flipped between Wings and IU/sparty). It's nice to see that sparty bob has found another job... _________________ 'eggo denoted me a First ballot Hall of Famer! - sandyeggo_blue wrote:

'shoes shoes is right about the rough play of Sparty. FWIW I want the B1G to dominate the tourney this year but I fear that blatant crotch shots like that can and will cost Sparty a chance to make a run. Also, to hit on what Artist said, they need more practice from the free throw line. It was the difference in tonight's game. _________________ Sometimes people standing on third base think they hit a triple, but they didn't - Jim Harbaugh

| IN a rare visit to MLive, I saw their banner heading: "Distracted, Undisciplined MSU [loses to IU]."
Couldn't those two words describe the MSU student body as a whole as well? At least when in the library or classroom, as opposed to the bar...
Wonder if Izzo was "Happy Magic J was in the house to see Indiana get its butt kicked"? (Oops, didn't get it kicked...just their crotch punched).
I agree with most of you, the less-tolerant officiating of the NCAA tourney is almost sure to cost MSU...and earlier than they probably think. | |

| I to am concerned about the contact the BIG allows MSU, I think they hack so much ,but IZZO gets his way becuase he's a GOD to official he had them lapping like dogs last night. that last foul on the 3 point play in that situation was horrindus. If anything that was offensive for crying out loud the player jump into the defense, ggod thing I didn't have the whistle should have been a no call. The clock operater what a joke that was. _________________ "HAIL HAIL MICHIGAN" Wanted John Harbaugh but I'll settle for JIM WITH AN ENTHUSIASM UNKNOWN TO MANKIND GOOO BLUE The Curse of Rich Rod

| It's not just MSU. I think Zeller has had two fouls called against him all season. | |

Well, it's good that someone on the sparty campus plays football... _________________ 'eggo denoted me a First ballot Hall of Famer! - sandyeggo_blue wrote:
