According to experts at Rivals Kozan is leaning UM and Diamond is leaning to Auburn........WTF on these 2!

It's has to be tough recruiting these kids that are having trouble making a decision. Sign the LOI please, don't just verbally commit.

I wish kids could sign an LOI whenever they want. Not allowing kids to make the absolute commitment to a school when they want to just keeps the possibility of other coaches back dooring the kid and stealing him.

I know this is something that's 'being looked at by the NCAA', but they really need to do something.

Some of these kids, like Shane, know where they want to go, and don't want/need to be harassed by other coaches any longer.

It would fix most of it. But what about the kid who makes his decision in between early period and feb 1st?

I say LOI's should be signable at any time.

A kid that waffles before being recruited

A kid that signs and then isn't 100% on board and ends up transfering?

If he's just not certain then, hell he's 17 or 18 give him a chance, that's ok.

If he's holding out because he wants limelight then let him go.

I just don't think an eazrly signing period helps.
