Off to a really nice start this season after the disappointment of last season. Thoroughly outplayed and outshot Boston U last night though it took a penalty shot to win 2-1.

Watched Minn vs Boston College on BTN last night.  Those are some good teams.

I watched the highlights, and you're right.

Makes me feel even better about the fact that Michigan beat BC.

fish, we lost a tough one Sat night, but the team continues to play well. Our inexperienced second string goalie has stepped into the breach nicely.

IMHO Nagelvoort isn't going back to Second-string. I'm not the best at goalie evaluation but I've never been sold on him. He's adequate but not outstanding, yet... Nagelvoort is better than Raccine though.

I bumped into Brian Wiseman this past summer and he was glowing with the news that they had just received Nagelvoort's commit letter, I guess he is good. His performance against BU was very good.

Also of note was that I met Taylor Lewan while walking out of Yost at the BU game. Uh, that guy is huge. Ask booboo, I'm a pretty large guy myself but next to Taylor I felt about 5'7" and 135lbs. I actually told Taylor that I was the only person who knew that he'd come back for his Senior year (yes 'eggo I did tell him about you "hoping"/"thinking" that he'd come back). He was absolutely dumb-founded by me saying that, so much that he talked a couple minutes about it on the concourse inside Yost with people bugging him for pictures.

I do regret not thinking to ask him about the "twosie". If I ever run into him again I'll make sure to ask him but I honestly don't think that I will. 'hail knows how isolated those guys are from the public during the season and Michigan doesn't have any more bye-weeks (I'm not going to stalk him at Bell's on Saturday night just to ask about the "twosie").

that's some first ballot hall of fame stalking on your part. How in the world did you find that guy. I guess the better question is why?
