Per DaShawn: if he goes into Engineering it will be Bama, if he chooses Sports Management it will be Michigan. Somehow Saban got him to think that he can't get an Engineering degree at UM AND play football but he can do that at Bama. Most people agree that the Engineering program at Michigan will be too tough while focusing on football at the same time. Michigan undergrad engineering is ranked #7, Bama's is #122. So I guess Slick Nick was able to take Bama's weakness into a strength. Clever bastard.

So then it's Bama. Saban is a snake, but he is a clever snake.

In the end Hand will pick Michigan. He's an athlete and that's what he wants to do, be it on the field (preferably in his mind I'm sure) but if that doesn't work out something involved in athletics (sports marketing).

If he thinks that he might want to be an engineer yes we may be in a little trouble BUT in the end he'll realize that he really doesn't want to go to the university ranked 122 in engineering. If you're gonna do something go hard, and I'm sure that is what he'll decide.

So he's coming to Michigan for Sports Marketing and maybe take a couple lower-level engineering classes.

DaShawn did say that he wants to build a stadium some day. engineering degree would be the obvious choice but he dropped VT which has an excellent engineering program and oh by the way he is like a son to Bud Foster. that alone has to say something.
