ESPN is reporting that Brown will resign at the banquet Friday and will be done at TEXAS. They make it sound like it is his decision, maybe maybe not. He is currently in Fla on a recruiting trip Hmm?

Also heard on the radio today that Dantonio may be on their short list of candidates.

This wouldn't surprise me at all although I would think he'd be at the bottom of their list due to MD's age. Got to believe Meyer would be at the top of that list.... We could hope! Not sure Meyer would leave O$U though.

Of those 3, I think Saban is the most likely. Both Saban and Dantonio are kinda old to be starting a new job but Saban is seen as a sure thing (winner) and Dantonio has had the heart issue. Meyer would lose all credibility after saying OSU was his dream job.

Doubt it's any of those three but the idea of winning a NC at three different schools might motivate Nick and Austin is a helluva lot nicer than Tuscaloosa.

I just hope Narduzzi gets a job elsewhere.

Reported this morning Bama is offered him $7M per year last night, up from his $5.5. Tx is offering 10 year/$100m plus some "perks" from the Tx TV station. The boys in the office down here in Montgomery Al are telling me he won't be going cause mama done told him they ain't leaving Tuscaloosa. And they tell us it's all about the kids! Lol

In Alabama that all they have for football Bama and Auburn, they can pay that kind of money, I say Saban can write his own check. Texas might hav eot look somewhere else. 1 thing for sure the guy will get paid.

CMU HC. Dan Enos. He started rough but has gone to a couple bowl games. He's a good coach. Heck, had to replace Butch Jones who replaced Brian Kelly. Also got there after Lafevere left. Hard to replace one of the best QBs in program history. Narduzzi is a great D coordinator and will probably be very successful as a head coach.

He was supposed to be an offensive genius. What happened was Kurt Cousins made him look really good for a couple of year.

He went to Miami (Oh) which is a cradle of coaches. I don't know if he is still there or not. Wiki says he WAS the coach at Miami??????

BTW he was a 4 year starter at WR for Miami so he did have previous ties.

Its official Brown is out as of Friday, man Texas is a tougher job than Michigan, or else Brady would be looking for a job!!!

Texas has been worse than Michigan the past three years (since Hoke has got here), with better talent, more resources, and in a weaker conference.

you can't really compare the two coaching tenures. one is brand new and one has been there awhile. more should be expected of Mack Brown

According to ESPN, Narduzzi turned down the UConn job. An interesting observation in reviewing past posts about Brown and Saban is that they are both the same age: 62!!

Narduzzi doesn't want to be a head coach . he'd rather be 2nd filldle in a big pond. Hasn't got the ambition to run a program , just take credit for his defense , in other words he's scared to take a risk.
