But enough jest. Someone---be it Master Brown himself, his coaches, family,  acquaintances, whoever---
really dropped the ball on this one, to fail to at least discourage an 18-year-old from attending a
late-night party at "an apartment complex".  Care to guess which "variety" of such a complex, anyone?  

Yes, folks, I know, it happens all the time. So do all too many disturbances, brawls and of course knifings
and shootings in just such settings. When I first read this thread, for whatever reason, immediately into my
mind popped the memory of last Saturday night's episode of "Joe Kenda Homicide Detective" (my fav. crime
show by far)...who was piecing together details of the fatal shooting (of an innocent, by-standing, unintended
target) at a "sketchy" (mildly speaking) apartment complex by a Cripps "lieutenant" with an AK-47...
