| The offense is better when Spike is on the floor. _________________ “And I remember across those years Two banners that crowned the crest, When Yale was king of the conquered East, And Michigan ruled the West.”

| Excellent win. I was afraid we'd get gassed considering the pace and how many guys they play.

Re: So Where's Walton Post by joe on 21st December 2013, 11:20 pm .I don't give a shit about points. When Spike is in the offense runs well. IMHO when Walton is in it doesn't so much. And that is mostly the reason that Spike is playing down the stretch. . _________________ "What the HELL's going on out here?"

| Walton was sick today, which is why:
1. He didn't start. 2. He only played 3 minutes. 3. The offense looked bad when he was in.
Walton has been playing really well and running the offense really well. Walton's biggest issues are shot selection and decision making, but he has no problem creating offense for himself and others. _________________

| And before anyone turns this into an argument, I agree the offense is better with Albrecht on the floor. Albrecht's leadership and ability to knock down shots are huge.
I think Walton is more talented, though, and will be one of our best players next year. _________________

Walton has been playing really well and running the offense really well. Walton's biggest issues are shot selection and decision making, but he has no problem creating offense for himself and others. I would also add that Gesell was probably a good matchup for Spike. Some pgs are too much for Spike to handle defensively, but Gesell was not a physical mismatch, nor was he asked to be their alpha dog on offense, so Spike's defense didn't hurt us as much. I think it's great that we have both of them. I think our ceiling is higher with Walton though.

| No question it is great to have both of them- this year and probably the next 2 years as well.
