Apparently sending 105 letters to a recruit is the way you land the best recruits. Hoke and Co. had better get writing.

Does the NCAA regulate the amount of money a school can spend recruiting a single recruit? If so, with the price of stamps, Bama may have gone over that limit on this kid ha ha.

I would have thought that there is a rule based on contact. 105 letters in one day? That's absurd.

But then I looked online a little (not long mind you), and while I couldn't find anything expressly saying "mail" I did find this: "(email is unlimited starting with the junior year of high school, text messaging is prohibited)".

One could extrapolate that email is the same thing as snail-mail but we'll see I guess. Well, knowing Alabama and their academic reputation they most likely had their Grad. Students write the letters in crayon in Art class...

If there are rules on 'contact', I think letters would be the way circumvent that. The loophole, if you will.
