The unofficial start of HS FB season started today for us!!! I'm sure the rest of the state will be going strong as well now or pretty soon. Hard to believe HS football season is just around the corner, 88 days to kick-off. Hard to get really excited on June 2nd, more interested in enjoying the summer, few weeks in Glen Arbor in July. Not our coach, he's fired up, he's highly motivated for the summer. Now it gets serious, only 9 weeks to 2-a-days camp. Team actually lifts, passing league, skills camps, veer camp, friday 6am man makers (hour of pure hell of lifting & running) for only 7 of the weeks, 2 mandatory weeks off.

Our HS FB team, Birmingham Seaholm, started the summer 7 on 7 passing league today. Scrimmaged against Brother Rice. Hoping to see Malzone, but he's in California for the Elite 11 passing academy. Actually it was fun to start FB again. Our def. graduated 9 seniors so it was a learning day for them. Rice's 2nd string QB is pretty good, he picked apart our rookies most of the hour & 1/4 we where out there. (Storms came threw, last 30 mins cancelled) Our 1 returning DB more than held his own against Rice. Of course scrimmage is filmed, hopefully kids pay attention on what needs improving.

Our off. graduated 7 seniors, so rebuilding as well through out the summer.

Hopefully the maize & blue will be working just as hard through out the summer. 89 days to kick-off vs App. St.

GO BLUE!!! Here's to the football season!!
