OT: Ray Rice is out

cut from the Ravens. Suspended indefinitely.

Goodell, The Ravens organization, the prosecutors, etc. They all got it wrong.

So now that they've finally seen the video from inside of the elevator they do this to him. What did they actually think happened in that elevator? They should have done this from the start. This makes the people mentioned above look asinine. What happened to Ray Rice today is a reaction to the public's reaction and not a reaction to what ray Rice did and that is disgusting.

Ray Rice is a POS IMO and got what he deserved but this was gone about all wrong.

Adam Schefter just hit the nail on the head. He said, "Either the investigation is flawed because they [the NFL] did not get that video or they're not being forthcoming about what they saw. It's one or the other. Flawed or not honest. Which one is it?"

The NFL is in full-on PR damage control mode right now. They brought this on themselves.

Read where the video could not be given out by law... so maybe true that the NFL did not know what was on it.... that being said he should have been indefinitely suspended pending release of the video... and then when available for viewing the NFL and the Ravens could have made the judgements they made yesterday.... the 2 game suspension shows what little regard for the violence Goodell had

fair enough... the video couldn't be realeased, the NFL couldn't see it... yada yada. but they did see the video of him dragging her limp body out of the elevator. What did they think happened in there? that's a BS way to skirt around it for the NFL if you ask me.

plus, ESPN is reporting that Ray Rice's testimony during the initial investigation is pretty much spot on to what is shown on the video that was just released. So the NFL knew he hit her because he told them, but the NFL only suspended Rice two games. The raven's went along with that. Then they both saw the video and they both acted as if they didn't know. lame

The NfL could have gotten the video directly from the casino, the same place the police got it from.
