Subject: Loss to NJIT Mon Dec 08, 2014 2:42 pm
Drop's Michigan right out of the top 25 ranking, showing just what a loss like that can do to a team . If that loss is this big a hit , what would it cost in the seating of the NCAA tourney.

I thought the tournament was in March? Why worry about a single loss in early December????? They will recover and be fine.

The big key is that the young guys develop and we get better as a team going into the BT season.

I think the other thing to look at is that our best wins over Oregon and Syracuse aren't looking that good anymore, with both having lost three times. I'm sure that's as big a factor as the loss to NJIT, and frankly, we shouldn't be ranked based on our season so far.
The freshman, particularly Chatman and Donnal, are not nearly as ready as was hoped. The good news is that this is a Beilein team and they will get better as the year goes on.
