Apparently Sam web is teasing some pretty big news on the premium board. I don't know if anyone here has a membership but it might be worth a look. It is supposed to be on the Coach Rumor Board.

the people I trust on twitter & seem to have accurate info., Board of Regents having a special meeting this weekend, possibly to approve a contract. Or board meeting about something completely different, who knows.

ESPN Los Angeles & CBS Miami both said its a done deal, JH to Michigan, 12/30 will be official signing day.

December 30th can't get here soon enough......or I'm gonna have ulcers big time! lol

Too much can happen in 10 days and I won't feel comfortable until he signs those papers or it's officially announced.

I think that he has. Why else wold there be an emergency Board of Directors meeting today? Why else would Jimmah's agent be flying into A2 today? (Please note, those two questions are based on rumors that I heard from not the most credible source.) Then again maybe Jimmah's agent is coming to work on terms of the contract? Maybe he didn't sign it yet, or maybe it's post-dated?

Sam said on the premium board that DJ Durkin would be the DC, and Greg Mattison would be staying on board as LB coach.

Durkin was part of Harbaugh's staff at Stanford and is currently the interim HC at Florida. He has been the LB coach for Florida since 2010 as well as the DC for the last two years.

I read an article that said that he has been informed that McElwain will not keep him on the staff when he gets there so this makes sense.

And, if true, this could be a little piece of the alleged "getting the band back together" text from Harbaugh.

I'm shocked that Mattison is staying. Don't get me wrong, I'm thrilled but it surprises me. I'm curious how much longer he'll stay. I know there is one year left on his contract but will he only stay that year?

pretty sure Mattison is a close friend to the Harbaughs. wouldn't surprise me if true.
