| http://espn.go.com/boston/story/_/id/12202450/nfl-says-new-england-patriots-had-inflated-football-afc-championship-game So Tom Brady laughed when asked about footballs being deflated. OH-OH!! Really hope Brady didn't ask ball boy to deflated the balls, wouldn't look good. Something tells me somebody, ball boy, manager, will fall on sword & make sure Brady, Belicheck aren't involved. $500,000 fine & lost of draft picks? New England probably won't give 2 fucks if they win Super Bowl. | |

| I haven't read this link, but from what I understand, it was one ball that felt light. Refs know by feel if the ball doesn't feel right. I don't think there is a story here. It was a local Indy guy that broke the story, and it sounds like a lot of sour grapes.
Oh, and at my local Indy watering hole last night, the old fellers think the game should be replayed. I laughed at that.

| As a former QB myself, I have no idea why anyone would want a deflated ball to throw in those conditions. I may be different but a deflated ball was an automatic duck especially in wet and rainy conditions. But again Tom Brady>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Me | |

| It amazes me that New England would feel a need to cheat to win. Given the organization's prior sanctions for transgressions, it is astounding that this was even attempted. Unbelievable. Which is not to say I don't believe it happened... | |

If the ball is deflated just a tad, so that your fingers can get a pressured grip on it, it is a huge advantage, especially in slick conditions; unless you are Aaron Rodgers apparently. Rodgers discussed this saying he is one of the few that prefers a pumped up ball because he has large hands. He also said that more than half of NFL QBs prefer a deflated ball. I believe it.

| question. did Indy use those same balls?
I heard a report that said the balls were under inflated by two pounds. That's quite a bit when talking about a football or basketball.

| I think I read that each team has 12 balls on their side, and rotate the balls in when possession changes. A solution would be for Indy-side balls to be used when NE is on offense, and vice-versa. Maybe. Still can't believe NE felt a need to cheat. | |

| Just wwatched Brady's Press Conference on this thing. The ESPN guys were making him out to be Kim Jong Un or something. The media is responbile for this that way they don't have to deal with Mershawn Lynch. Hey, wow I've just become a Jesse Ventura conspiracy theorist... | |
