OT: women's softball

awarded a # 3 seed in NCAA tournament. Only Florida (defending champs) and Oregon are higher seeds.

If I'm reading this right it looks like Michigan is hosting 1st round?

I watched the game last night and the announcers said that if UM wins the first round then more than likely they will also host the next round, the Super Regional.

I just looked at their regional and super regional brackets and UM should clearly be the overwhelming favorites to get out of both. It looks like they got a good seed that should give them a clear shot to get to world series.

BTW, I don't follow softball like I do other things Michigan but I was really happy to see that out girls swept O$U and Sparty this year. They beat O$U by a combined score of 46-2 in the three game sweep. Love it.
