| Just saw this.
B-line must see something in this kid that nobody else does.
A 3* with offers from MAC level schools plus Indiana. Ugh.

| He's the answer to the question, "What random 3-star will Beilein pick up that will end up being just as good as Tyus Battle?". | |

I get what you're saying. I hope there's a bit of sarcasm in that statement because I just don't see it. Battle is going to be special. _________________ Sometimes people standing on third base think they hit a triple, but they didn't - Jim Harbaugh

| I'd rather have 4 years of say Zach Novak or Caris Levert than one year of Battle- but that's just me. | |

| I agree shoes but I've yet to see Beilein lose a highly ranked player after just one year.
That sample pool is small though. _________________ Sometimes people standing on third base think they hit a triple, but they didn't - Jim Harbaugh

| I doubt Tyus Battle is a 1 and done player and getting Watson doesn't hurt the sting of losing Battle. I wouldn't be surprised to see Watson end up a 4* player when it's all said and done, and we know what Beilein can do with underrated recruits. That being said, for every Stauskas there is a Vogrich and every Burke there is a Brundidge, so the jury will be out on him. _________________ | |

| That puts us at the scholarship limit, but the staff is still recruiting Winston so that must be Davis will be re-classifying. This was rumored before, but if we land Winston (which would be huge but unlikely), it would confirm that. _________________ | |

I'm assuming B-line thinks this way, also. At least that's the impression I'm getting.

From what I read during his UM commitment I felt the same way. I just wasn't sure enough to post that. That makes his switch hurt more _________________ Sometimes people standing on third base think they hit a triple, but they didn't - Jim Harbaugh

From what I read during his UM commitment I felt the same way. I just wasn't sure enough to post that. That makes his switch hurt more Battle may or may not be and obviously that is a lot dependent upon how he plays, but my general principle ids that I'd rather have a very good 3 or 4 year guy than a one year guy. Great 2 year players like Trey and Nik are a little tougher because I think both made huge 2 year contributions.
