This is why Harbaugh was needed

Regardless of the final record this year ... this is a team that is doing all the little things right ... they are sound fundamentally ... this is a well coached team ... the players are playing with fire and toughness ... imagine if Brandon had actually tried to get Jim 4 years ago ... we would be a NC contender today ... this a football team

Brandon would have fucked it up if he'd tried for Harbaugh and Harbaugh would have never been able to tolerate Brandon if he did come. Michigan needed the Brady disaster to get where it is today.

Yep, Brandon really fucked up the football program. Coleman screwed up with that hire.

I 100% agree with all previos comments. I'd still like to know why Mary Sue was so emphatic about hiring DB Brandon. She was a terrific President with the glarng exception of the DB Brandon hire, he must have had something on her (or maybe he was instrumental in getting her hired, as he was a regent at the time).

she was also a major part of the RR hiring by not taking Les. that whole fiasco is a major stain on her resume.

Actually Bacon said that Brandon did want him and figured he didn't have to try to woo him. Figured he could just call and it was a done deal. Showed him no love. JH felt that and went to SF.

Pretty much, that and there is no way DB Brandon would bring in another big fish in his pond.

I got to attend the game today, last minute offer from a friend with season tickets. My take on it was we certainly could have beaten UNLV by a larger margin, but the team just took care of business in a workmanlike fashion. It wasn't quite as flashy, or high scoring as it could have been, but there was never really much doubt who the better team was. Sometimes, even the greatest of teams have games where they just take care of business without looking like gangbusters. It was a nice day at the Big House.

last year this game would have saw Meechigan either lose at the end or needing a miracle to pull out a win ... Harbaugh has brought toughness and accountability , if you practice hard and execute in the games you will play , not because you are the teachers pet
