Good Morning Guys (and girl)

What a stupid day. It's February 29th in mid-michigan and we have a damn THUNDERSTORM! WTF? The damn lightning woke me up last night.

I love this forum.

Each day I check out the other one and it is such garbage. People trolling with multiple names. People baiting others just to fight. People lying just to try to make them look smarter or better. People making fly-by posts that are only meant as inflammatory.

Great job Admin and Mods for keeping that garbage outta here!

Had a heck of a thunderstorm here last night too. Supposed to be almost 70 here today. Damn I'm ready for spring to stay.

Schools are all closed here . Wind rain snow and sleet , grazy northern michigan weather here on Leap day.

You're way up north in the lower peninsula right? Without actually giving up your town?

Just wondering. The wife is heading a little north to Ithaca, Breckenridge and over to Saginaw.

But spring is coming as friends 6 miles NW of here texted that their first lamb just arrived with more on the way. They rais ethe sheep fpr border Collie trainig and for selling.

We are getting a Leap day Blizzard, and I'm supose to be going North for a Hockey game , not very nice out.

It's 60 degrees and gorgeous blue skies here in Chicago!!!!

Took the day off. I just may go golfing.

Work is boring today.

Can't wait for tourney time!

I agree with Willie. My best-friend moved out to Huntington Beach several years ago and after the 3rd day that I was out there for the first time to see him I wanted some rain, sleet, snow, locusts, anything... It was 70 and sunny everyday, I was so bored. I longed for Michigan and it's constant variations in weather.

...then I got back to Michigan and that all changed.

I agree with your sentiments on this forum, although a small amount of friction is good for any discussion. I guess that's why I'm still here...

I will however say that east landfill IS NOT Mid-Michigan. el is in the southern 1/3rd of the L.P. I remember when I first moved to Mid-Michigan, I considered it "up north" as I'm from the A2-area. I'd meet someone and they would say that they are going "up north". I'd reply, "What do you mean? We are "up north" to me."
