Anyone know what is going on with the RB position? I missed the start of the game with the previous game running long. Still it seemed like Drake may have been the #1. Isaac I don't believe got a snap. Smith prior to his injury did not seem to be getting the bulk of the carries. Just curious what others have seen.

Drake was clearly the best back on Saturday. Smith did get the start. Minnesota stacked the box because Rudock isn't a threat to hit the deep pass. UM couldn't get the running game going.

I think we'll see a lot of 8 man fronts until they complete a pass over 15 yards. Only 4 games left so I'm thinking it isn't going to happen.

Smith did leave with an apparent twisted ankle.

Yea I saw the injury. Seems like they are really shuffling the RB rotation. Anything on Isaac.

Harbaugh says the Ty Isaac is not playing and is not on the depth chart due to "an internal matter"

Jesus Christ what Is wrong with these guys? You have 4 years to make your case for the NFL. Most don't contribute until after freshmen years which leaves you with 3. Then they piss it away with entitlement issues. This is why I hate getting wrapped up in recruiting. Stars mean nothing if you feel entitled and don't put in the work.

Drake is by far the only back we have that can make plays on his own even if the OL is playing bad which is what has been happening the last two games

No faith in Smith? I think he is pretty good even with an average line.

I like Smith and his toughness but his vision is limited ... when healthy Drake is by far the best back

From what I've seen so far, only ranking the core of the RB/HB/FB stable and from a talent perspective only..

Drake is the best option when healthy.

I suspect, even based on the limited sample size, that Ty Isaac is the second best on the roster. I wish he could work out his ball security issue and his off the field stuff.

Smith is number three. He has the heart and the will. IMO he either needs work understanding the gaps or he needs to work on his vision. The former can be a quick fix, he could be at his ceiling on the latter.

Kerridge/Houma are T4. They have done everything expected of them. They are performing exactly how I hoped a FB would under Hoke and Harbaugh

Green is last on the list but there is something to be said about the growth in his level of maturity this year. It can't be easy knowing you were primed to break out last year before an injury and now only being the 4th option. He shows more flashes of brilliance than anyone on the team but he continues to frustrate because he's so hit and miss (more miss BTW)
