| the red shirt decision was made weeks ago , so no story here .... the only question is will he be here two more years or somewhere else .... imho guaranteed it is somewhere else , as he is probably still 3rd on the depth chart next spring | |

| I think there is something that we're not hearing. Medical RS a possibility? That way Shane can use this year as a Medical RS, RS next year as a transfer, and then he'll still have two years left at his transfer school. That is of course assuming that Shane can still get a medical RS even though he dresses every game. This will be interesting, although maybe Shane found his calling as a coach and will stay at Michigan because he loves it and who better to learn from than Bo 2.0?

| If he is on track to graduate he could transfer without sitting or he might go D2 or whatever they call it now. | |
