UM vs MSU set for noon

I hate noon games.

Half of the State fans will still be sleeping off their drunk from Friday night. Edge for us, not that we should need it.

I want it done so I can either savor the jubilation or move on, somehow.

Yeah, I guess. Since it is on my dad's 8th birthday we will be watching with my sparty family members. It will be me, dad and my wife as the only 3 UM fans out of about 20 people that will be there.

Most of them are already making the excuses why UM will win. I guess getting it done early is best.

BTW, we are having a chili cookoff for the game. My money is on my wife winning. Her chili has won 3 different competitions

And the half that do actually go to the game will leave at halftime...

Could have a World Series game that night too!

Not nearly so much as do Sparties, Fish, especially this year.

Coach fires are less spectacular in broad daylight.  (i.e., 3PM-ish)

How does a fan overlooking a team, impact the game? It doesn't. If the team overlooks another team, then you have trouble, but since we are only fans, and we have zero impact on the actual outcome, we can overlook teams.

What fish says is true of course. I suppose to the extent that the players are a part of campus student life and at Michigan they are moreso than at some other big time schools, if they're hearing a lot of overconfidence, it could rub off.

My sense is that Coach Harbaugh is the best kind of coach one could have though to guard against that, at least since Bo.

100% spot on, 'shoes. JH will not allow his fellas to grow complacent. He's not Schembechler, but is infused with Bo's spirit.

FWIW, friend who is one of the athletic trainers told me its been a fantastic week of practice! Also said seniors know whats at stake this year won't let team have bad days/bad weeks of practice.

Not surprised but love hearing that booboo.
