Speight gone

Per 247, Speight is transferring. My attempt to link failed.

WOW this is a little bit of a surprise, I know Jim was tough on him ,but thought he would stay! Poor guy just won't except the challenge of Peters,

Not a great surprise... I’m sure he saw that Peters and McCaffrey were probably ahead of him ... good luck to him , had some good moments but in the end not enough to be the QB to take this team to an elite level

If he's smart, he looks into coaching and forgets about playing risky head-banging sports.

yep.

also if Pep goes to ASU people are saying and JH can get Fisch back on board then the offense can start to take the step forward that it needs to. Doesn't mean that I think that they will be ready to compete for a B1G title but it's a step in the right direction.

also if Pep goes to ASU people are saying and JH can get Fisch back on board then the offense can start to take the step forward that it needs to. Doesn't mean that I think that they will be ready to compete for a B1G title but it's a step in the right direction.

agreed , time for one single OC , put Drevno as line coach if he stays and Fisch comes back

My thoughts on Speight: He knew that he wouldn't play next year what with both Peters & McCaffrey, and I have a sneaky suspicion that Coach Harbaugh wouldn't let him play anyway.

I'm sure it was discussed during his rehab. I'm sure it has nothing to do with his injury and everything to do with the coaches wanting to move forward with one of the younger more talented QBs.

McCaffrey is most certainly more talented. Peters still lacks assertiveness or he would definitely be better. Everyone is better than O'Korn.

I hope McCaffrey is the greatest QB in the history of the B1G, I hope Peters is as well, heck, I hope Milton and Doyle are too. I just want to see one of them take over and lead this team to a championship.

I hope McCaffrey is the greatest QB in the history of the B1G, I hope Peters is as well, heck, I hope Milton and Doyle are too.  I just want to see one of them take over and lead this team to a championship.

I think that with the right coaching Milton can be a world beater. Watch his tape. He's raw but you can see flashes of awesomeness everywhere. If he can learn to sit in a pocket and read a defense he'd be the most dynamic QB that Michigan has ever had. He would be more a threat that Denard.

I see that he'll be in A2 in January. (Unless he changes his mind, of course!)

I agree, I'm pretty excited about this kid, too. What an arm! Hope he gets the right training cause he could be a hell of a QB.
