yeah that was a head scratcher He received it because he was good (not great) and his name. If he was "Joey Smith" he would have been second-team All Big Ten. | |

Nick Bosa: 28 tackles, 12.5 TFL, 6.0 sacks, 47 QB pressures, 19 stops Mo Hurst Jr: 58 tackles, 13.0 TFL, 5.0 sacks, 46 QB pressures, 37 stops Chase Winovich: 84 tackles, 17.0 TFL, 8.0 sacks, 49 QB pressures, 48 stops So among the three Bosa was last in tackles (by a LONG shot), 2nd in sacks, 2nd in pressures and last in stops (by a long shot) and yet he won the B1G D player of the year.  | |
