Thoughts on Maryland game.

The refs let the game get into a flow. How nice was that?

Matthews scoring and energy was the difference.

Teske's defense was the difference. Bruno was scoreless in the first half. Ended with 10. Before the game if someone had told you Bruno would only get 10 points you'd have jumped on it.

Turnovers were the difference. A big fat 0 in the second half. In the mean time our defense caused several. (don't have exact number)

Defense on #1 after hitting the two 3's was the difference. We moved Charles on him and he went away like all other offensive players.

The 3 made 3's late in the game were the difference. 1 each by Jon, Iggy and X. Jon had missed 6 in a row before that make. Everyone was struggling.

There is more but when you mention 3 or 4 things that were the difference it just shows that everyone is in this game. Someone might only score 3 or 4 or 5 but it's right when we need them really bad.

Our team is really young but the young guys played in a National Championship last year. I don't think they'll see any more pressure than they saw that night.

IMHO Simpson's free throw shooting improvement was the difference at the end of the game.
