Mich vs MSU

the scheduling for this game is totally against Michigan. Last game of the season, Senior night, playing for 1st place. packed house. I don't see this going well for Michigan, I say MSU 67 Michigan 58.

KenPom, to me the best, most analytical website for college basketball makes MSU a 4 point favorite with a 2/3 (67 percent) chance of winning. I do think it will be very hard for the reasons you give, as well as others, but I d think we have a decent chance of reversing the result of the first game. I was at that game and kudos to MSU for playing very well.

There are many keys but two are that Teske be in less foul trouble than Tillman and that Z not have to sit for anything other than brief rest, and that we have a more traditional edge in the turnover department. In the first game I think MSU only turned it over 6 times and only once in the second half. In their losses, that seems to be an achilles heal. Think they average something like 12 turnovers a game. I'd like to see that many or more, while we limit ours to single digits. That is one area where Ward being out helps them. It seems like he has always been good for multiple turnovers in the post.

For some reason that I cannot explain I have a really good feeling about tonight.

Beilein a week to prepare, fix the defense issues from the first game, I don't know, but I just feel like UM wins. Maybe I'm crazy.

I really wish this game wasn't so late.

Poole has taken some vert bad shots, in key situation down toward end of the half. Michigan fortunate to be up 6 Sharties bench better than Michigan, Think John made a mistake slowing it down, and letting MSU set up its defense.

Goins isn't even guarding Livers . Come on get in the game. Might just as well play a freshman. Somebody text Livers tell him to get his ass in the game, its embarrassing .

Game over at the 10 minute mark losing by 10 in the 2nd half terrible 2bd half by Michigan. no scoring and olé defense       Killed on the scoreboard killed on the rebound chart, killed on the officiating and killed in the coaching dept.

I must say, this is one (if one of a very few) of your posts I actually enjoyed!  "Tommy Tantrum" !!!!!   Good sobriquet for him, though...and as portly as he's fast becoming, he'd better watch that hypertension better than he always has.  He wouldn't stand nearly the chance coming out of open-heart surgery with the long end of the stick as did Coach B.

And yes, it was ridiculous, the deference the refs showed to him. Christ, at one point, they'd taken 18 FTs to our 3!!!!!

And maybe some of the lunatics will come around to the realization that maybe, JUST MAYBE, Charles M is more vital to this team than they give him credit for after every off-game he suffers.  But I'm secure in the knowledge Coach B will NOT use him until his ankle's 100% healed.  With 11 days still to go till the IMPORTANT tournament, hopes are high he WILL be fully ready by then.
