And look, I am as frustrated with Charles' offense as anyone. I'm to the point where I think he should only do two things, drive or alley-oops at the rim or uncontested spot up 3s in rhythm. His fall-away 2s are not consistent enough to make them worthwhile uses of an offensive possession. We are absolutely better with him on the floor though.

I just hope he gets his shit together on offense when the big dance starts up......he can be good at times. As a senior one would think he'd be more consistent but he's not.

He is a dam good defender though and I don't understand why Coach didn't put him on McQuaid (sp?) yesterday? That kid was killing us.

Livers played better Than Mathews and he is younger, Mathews never challenged Goins who started out as a non scholarship player. so if stopping Goins is considered a major accomplishment, then why was he not guarding McQuaid who killed us. Izzo adjusted coverage . Mich Mike what make you an authority on personal, Basketball has 2 end of the court you don't tale the offense off just to excel on defense.

It is fair to argue that he should have switched to McQuaid during the game but did you watch Goins in the first 2 MSU games when Charles was not on him?

agreed but anyone can see McQuaid is a lot more dangerous than Goins, plus Poole got ate up in the 1st 2 games and was being killed in the 3rd game, Tommy Tantrum noticed Iggy was killing him and switched . yet Joh continued to let Poole get killed.
