I can say I've heard much worse from my playing days in HS, but still.

| I know he was in the crowd. He did leave early.
But he did say something on his twitter about the chants last night, it has since been deleted.

| Our High school was the "more affluent" versus the neighbor's "Farm Boy" school.
Yeah, our kids ran out and put a toy John Deere Tractor on the free throw line during warm us.
That was about how far we went.
Now that "farm area" is as affluent or moreso than my old home is.
And our "Lily white" high school played Benton Harbor every year in the Holiday Tournament. There was never ANYTHING that happened.
In fact, back in my day, St Joeseph always had one of the best Holiday Tournaments in the state. We had Muskegon Heights when they were good in the mid-late 70"s. Detroit Denby was there. Their front line was 6 11, 6 7, 6 5, and we had never seen tht many tall guys.
Back in the 70's St Joe had a kid named Tom Scheffler who went to Purdue and Played in the league.
My little town has a few known guys. Rob Fredrickson went to MSU and was an all american LB and went to the NFL. OF course Mike Gillette is from my hometown. Carl Czirr played Center for UofM in the early 70's. AT LIKE 223 pounds!!!!!
That's not even including Benton Harbor who had a lot of Basketball stars thoroughout the years not the least of which is Chet Walker. Currently Wilson Chandler is playing for some Chinese team I think after being with the Knicks and Denver.

Not that much different than Northwestern (that's right, B10's own, academically-highfalutin N.W.) students back in the day. Their "modified" cheer after the opposition scored a killing TD or basket, as I recall it: "THAT'S ALRIGHT, THAT'S OKAY--- YOU'LL BE WORKING FOR US ONE DAY."

| Like all cheers, at least on some basis, aren't imitations from somewhere else... | |
