Mathis/Cravens

Haven't been here in a while so I never posted during all of the Adidas aftermath. I know I am completely biased but why wouldn't Mathis and Cravens come to AA? Mathis had some great feedback about the experience. Frankly, I do not know how the visit could have gone better from what he said. The 2013 class that we have coming in is looking AMAZING. With those two it is a slam dunk #1 class. Add in what Hoke has already done in recruiting prior to 2013 and we have the makings of a real contender. Best coaches, best facilities best program. I really hope those two decide to go to school together and end up at Michigan.

Have they said if they are planning on going to the same school?

They have not said they 'plan' to go to the same school. They've both said that would be neat, but it's definitely not a priority for either of them.

Cravens thus far has publicly 'declared' three official visits, all to the B1G. Nebraska, Ohio and us.

Mathis damn near committed this weekend, and he said after this weekend we are his clear #1.

If I had to put my own money on it, I would say we have a much better chance at landing Mathis. Based on the comments I read from him, and the fact that his DC would be Greg Mattison (which I think plays a huge factor into the defensive recruiting success), I think we really could end up with him.

Well if Cravens is leaning towards going to the B1G than why not go where your cousin is going? As of right now it is not like Cravens is wanting to stay on the west coast. Man I really hope this works out. These two would be great. Mathis sounds like he was a beast last weekend.

Cravens would be the best player in our entire class....I'd even nudge him ahead of Morris, personally.
