| As I just noted in my continuation of my "nay" tailgate vote, I've been in the Balto-Wash area since taking this current job with the IRS (software conversion consultant). Currently live in a little Maryland town (Crofton) about 10 miles west of Annapolis.
BTW---formerly, all the State Capitals I'd seen were flat-out crap: Albany (I'm a native of NYS) is a ramshackle dump; even Hartford was kinda seedy. Harrisburg's gone downhill dramatically (IMO) in the four decades since Dad served in the Pa. legislature, and need I even mention C'bus? (And Lansing's too close to
its eastern "neighbor" to be of any appreciable note).
But Annapolis truly is a capital to be proud of. The Naval Academy has plenty to do with that, but the shoreline of the harbor, downtown area, lots of places---even the outlying parts of the town---really are nice.
Definitely the pride of Maryland...though beating out Baltimore sure as hell doesn't take much. | |

| The little nimrod told DJWolverine he is best friends with a guy from Orchard Lake St. Marys they both know. Somebody found on Facebook his name from the mutual friends page and then looked him up and Linked in and Facebook show the Sparty and Investor connection along with OLSM and Scottsdale, AZ. | |
