Goodbye PSU. I don't see how the B1G can even keep them now. It would be like having a school that won't be able to compete. This will only hurt the B1G. I wonder if the 4 years includes the B1G championship. Isn't that considered post season?

Agreed...not a death penatly, but certainly a death blow (cue a youtubue clip of Seinfeld and the Death Blow episode)...

Yes this includes the B1G Championship game. I do not see the conference kicking them out. Personally I wouldn't want them to. These penalties are severe enough I do not think you need to kill the program any more than it is. It will be a long time before we see PSU contending for anything again.

Football will still be played there, but the next 4 years will be meaningless. I don't understand why they dropped the records for the school since 1998 except to effect Paterno all time coaches record , but the kids that played in those games did nothing to deserved that and that is their record to. I understand making the coaches nad the administration paying, but why penalize the boyz that played.

They went back to 1998 because that is when the first incident was reported.
