Unfortunately, no. I don't have anything. Just the Ohio State game and the Rose Bowl win from that season. It's really a miracle I even have those two to be honest. Before the 1980's, a non-rivalry/non-bowl game was almost never broadcast on TV. And anything prior to the 70's is most likely silent coaches film that is stored away in some vault somewhere in Ann Arbor. Even Bob Ufer radio broadcasts are hard to come by that predate the Schembechler years.
Just going by Bentley Historical library, the game was played on September 26th. It was our season opener (can you imagine having to wait until the end of September for college football to start?). A crowd of just 69,888 fans showed up at the big house. Michigan's 3 touchdowns were scored by their 3 biggest offensive weapons; Bob Timberlake, Mel Anthony and Jim Detwiler. All runs.
Final score: Michigan 24 Air Force 7
