Not sure that I follow your ascertation of the situation. I typically don't rub it in when I'm correct because there are always serveral others with the same opinion. Sure, this time 'eggo and chris joined me but not that loudly. It was me against the world and I never waivered.

While I didn't play for Michigan I went to Michigan, studied psychology and other behavior disciplines, hung-out with major athletes when I was in school there, and perhaps of equal importantance, was a very good athlete in my own right growing up. I know how elite athletes feel, granted I was never a D-1 athlete but I could have been if not for a certain circumstance.

Not sure if you remember the old Jeep slogan, "It's a Jeep thing, you wouldn't understand." Well this is a Michigan thing, you won't understand. I know what you are saying, what about all of the Alumni who thought that Taylor was gone? They've been out of Ann Arbor too long and the real world has jaded them.

I'd still like to say that even if Taylor decided to leave I would not have been terribly shocked. Sure, I would had raised an eye-brow but I knew that Braylon would be back, Henne would be back, Hart would come back, Long would be back, Manningham would go, Martin would come back, Mesko would come back, and Lewan would come back. I am not saying that I will never be wrong on anything, remember a week or so ago when I called myself out of the forum for being wrong MULIPLE TIMES on the same day? It's a Michigan thing, not just sports.

I haven't met him, heck he hasn't even committed yet, but on the surface I think that Green, if/when he picks Michigan, will be a 3 and done guy. Of course he may really get into the entire Michigan way of life, he might buy into the Block M so he may stay. But does anyone know about how studious the kid is? The athletes aren't traditional students in the academic stand-point but can he hold his own or would he be another Manningham? I still have no idea how Coach Carr got him in here, not that I'm complaining but wow. How about Green's family, are they set financially?

Just the fact he appeared to be questioning my Michigan pedigree and bona fides. I was born and bred maize and blue, as was "my pappy and my pappy's pappy". My siblings went to Michigan, and I hope my daughter will go to Michigan. Michigan is the ONLY college I applied to. I know what "a Michigan thing" is all about.
