| Twitter is lighting up about some kid named Rodney Davis from Ottawa Hills High school that says he got an offer from UM to play WR. I see Dawson and DG tweeting about him and him tweeting back. WTF? This kid doesn't have profile on Scout, Rivals, 247 or ANYWHERE. Is this a joke or is some kid pulling a Kevin Hart. Has anyone heard about this kid?

| Grand Rapids does not have a daily newspaper (incredible for a metro area with about 700k population), only M-live, but I never remember hearing about him. Everybody is cummin' all over about Drake Harris and that's about it. | |

Huh? http://grandrapidspress.mi.newsmemory.com/ Sure, they may not "print" it anymore but that is for multiple reasons. Cost, environment, practicality, very few people actually buy a paper, etc. are all reasons why they went completely web-based. They aren't the only publication. Sure, they joined the M-Live hub so that people could find it as well as more people would see it. That makes it more attractive to companies looking tyo advertise. | |

after reading the other message board thread and reading up on his twitter and putting two and two together this kid is just a little anxious and may have jumped the gun and told everyone he was going to get an offer and commit. I think he may have attended the manti te'o school of public relations because he's clearly played up and embellished the truth of the situation. | |
