Thoughts on Charles Barkley in studio.

He is turrible. He obviously doesn't follow the college game. He said yesterday that the B1G doesn't have any great players. He mumbles and tries to piggy back off of why Gregg Anthony says.

Kenny Smith isn't much better. I hate when networks just grab guys that work another sport, and NBA is a different sport, and just throw them into the studio. Fox did it with the BCS show a couple years ago throwing Jimmy Johnson and the NFL on Fox guys into the studio for the BCS. It was horrible.

Sir Charles is the second worst bumbling-stumbling announcer in the business behind Shannon Sharpe of course.

ESPN radio played a clip of Frank Caliendo doing Barkley's thoughts on the NCAA tourney. It was great.

He said "The 20 minutes I spent studying the NCAA, I determined that the B1G is turrible".

Charles kept pushing the idea that the MWC was the best conference in basketball this year. He said the MWC was better than the Big 10.

MWC so far:
3 New Mexico loses to 14 Harvard
5 UNLV loses to 12 California
Boise St. loses play in game to La Salle
8 Colorado St. beats 9 Missouri

Trey Burke, Cody Zeller, Victor Oladipo, and DeShaun Thomas should all be 1st/2nd team All Americans.

Yeah but San Diego St looked pretty good last night. They continue to play like that they can go on a run especially since Georgetown is out and I've never been sold on Florida. But you are right, Charles is an idiot to think that the MWC is better than the B1G.

I thought Charles did well today.

He called the Michigan game perfectly. Said UofM had too many ball handlers and actually liked playing up tempo.

He has pretty bad laryngitis (sp) today so he's not as animated but he's made some good observations. TODY! lol

He picked Memphis over MAC. We'll see. I guess I'm torn on this game.

How could you have been torn about the Memphis game? Have you seen them play? They are trash and play a trash schedule.

Barkley is a joke.
