I wish I had some good news to report here but we have a long way to go so don't give up all hope just yet.
Hand attended the NFTC at the Washington Redskins Training Center today. He arrived wearing a Virginia Tech hoodie.
Hand did not compete in the camp.
Hand's top five are Alabama, Florida, Michigan, South Carolina and Virginia Tech, with the VT and UM perceived as the top two.
Hand said he didn’t have any future visits in mind, but one of his coaches said that Florida was a possibility this summer as that’s the one school in his top five he’s yet to see.
As far as official visits go, Hand confirmed talk of possibly attending the Michigan-Notre Dame game in Ann Arbor, but said nothing has been set in stone. He also said he hasn’t had much communication with recruiters as of late.
One more thing to note, of the 20 recruiting reports/writers that were polled, 18 picked Hand to VT and 2 picked him to end up at UM. If he attends the night game against ND and Michigan wins another stunner, that could all change. Anyone that attended the night game two years ago can tell you that type of atmosphere can be very persuasive.
