McDowell bust?

Being from the U.P. and living 10 minutes from Ishpeming, I watched every play of the Division 7 state championship. The Ishpeming O and D Lines were incredibly undersized in that game, and everybody and their brother expected Detroit Loyola to dominate that game. Instead, Ishpeming won and McDowell looked less than impressive to me.

I know he has next level size, but could this kid be overrated?

I've seen his tape and the thing that popped out at me was how incredibly fast he was. You hear the term explosive thrown around a lot but he had a step on every kid off the snap and he chased down numerous backs that got into the second level. A kid with his size and speed should be just fine at the next level, especially when a guy like Mattison is the one coaching him up.
