A couple of things...
..Michigan has incurred problems with the company's product as well. Just in the past year, the Wolverines' Outback Bowl football uniforms featured numbers that were difficult to read in the Florida sun, and the men's basketball team had several issues with ripped jerseys.
The team actually had to revert to its 2011-12 away jerseys for a stretch because so many of the 2012-13 tops had ripped, and replacements were slow to arrive...
I think if you go back and look at some of those games, it didn't matter if the jersey's were made of the same material that military grade bullet proof vests are. The B1G play was rough this year and jerseys were gonna rip. Plus the two games off the top of my head where there jersey problems were Minnesota (Burke and Morgan I believe) and VCU (GRIII). Both games our boys were just blowing by their D and they were just grabbing at anything they could to stop us. Not sure we could've avoided a ripped jersey or two.
...A month later, Adidas ponied up the $1.8 million to 2,800 former workers...
I was not aware of this but in related news, there are 2800 new UM fans somewhere on the planet.
