| It was on this morning too. It got me stoked for football.
I forgot that Epstein had a game winning FG blocked as time expired in regulation. Loved the use of the TE and FB in the passing game.

I didn't. I almost had a stroke when that kick was blocked. And earlier in the 4th quarter, game tied 28-28, we have a first and goal at the 2 and Anthony Thomas fumbles the ball into the end zone, that almost killed me. The reality is that game should have never gone to overtime. Only seems fitting the way Bama eventually lost after those 2 HUGE bullets they dodged in the 4th quarter. Another thing I remember about that game was the first half where we weren't getting much done. We were only down 14-0 but Bob Griese and Brad Nessler seemed more interested in talking with Joe Namath than covering the actual game. Their conversation went on for a while. After Brady threw that first TD to Terrell just before the half, we were done with the Namath stories.

Really was a thrilling game, but also an ugly game penelty wise. I just looked it up: UM 10/115 Penalties/Yards Bama 18/132. Ugly.

| that was the stereotypical M football I first saw when I started watching M football. TEs were coming of blocks to catch passes, the FBs were involved. Our bruising RB kept plugging away for a few yards at a time and that opened the big pass plays to Terrel and even a TE I believe. Fun to watch.
I think Bama had the best D in the nation that year or at least a top three but our D looked good when it got settled down and out shined them. _________________ Sometimes people standing on third base think they hit a triple, but they didn't - Jim Harbaugh
