Since Rich Rod started at UA, 15-9 M 15-9. Since 08' M is 41-33

On twitter today, since RR started at Arizona in 2012, his record is 15-9, same as M. Here's more fun facts: vs AP-ranked teams UA 3-6 M 1-5, vs AP top 10 UA 2-1 M 0-2, road/neutral UA 5-5 M 4-8.

Another fun fact, take Rich Rods 3 yrs at M, BH 12' & 13' season, Michigan is a whopping 30-31. Yep that's championship caliber FB!!! OK lets add the 11' season to make it look better, 41-33 in the last 6 seasons. Northwestern is 44-32, That's what the M FB program has become, we measure ourselves vs N'western!!!

Didn't take the time to look up, but guessing OSU, MSU, Wisc., PSU, Neb., & Iowa plus N'western all have better records. So M has the 8th best record in the B1G in the last 6 yrs. We're #8!!!!!!!

What does all mean? The winningest program in CFB history has become mediocre!!!

OK like all us we're frustrated & I'm doing some late night venting.

There was never any doubt in my mind that RR would be successful at another D1 program (I recall people saying he wouldn't get another D1 job without being an assistant first). His stay at Mich was doomed from the get go. He could have survived his own mistakes (and there were several) but not the undermining from year one.

Michigan is still a great job, but it is in danger of not being one if we don't solve this mess with the offense and change perceptions soon.

A win Sat would be an incredible boost for morale, recruiting, momentum, but I think it is a very long shot- say 15 percent.

Yea RR was doomed and Michigan right along with it, There was no good transition from one type of offense to another , one coaching scheme to this one. RR wanted quick fast guys smaller size . Brady wanted big honking mules and power football , so while Michigan was recruiting fast quick guys for 3 years we sucked and the RR got the ax, now Brady recruiting Big guys and power football more like the big 10 is up here in the north, and we all want to ax him, I believe his staff needs to be trim , but we must stay the course in player personnel

Hoke brings the recruits in, RR runs his high scoring spread O, and Mattinson works his magic on defense.

Sure, it's not at all Hoke's pholisophy, but it sure would be fun to watch.

Do you think with the weather and field condition at PSU and NW ,that the offense would have been smooth , That what I say after Say Oct 20th the weather in Michigan and the BIG as a hole pretty much deters , that the offense would struggle

Not an RR fan, let it be said that he did not help himself with some of his actions, however no one should have been subjected to what he was by Carr, former players and some media, then treated the way he was by Brandon, to me he will be a great person just with what he did for Brock Mealer

The weather isn't that much different than it is in West Virginia in November. Urban Meyer's spread (which borrows from RR) seems to work OK in the Big Ten.
