I'm on board with that, Sandy. Only column in which GG has PK one-up'd is experience. And now, Patrick will get that experience. Dad's a coach (UTEP), and football runs in the family (brother plays for Purdue). And whatever GG may have done to warrant the suspension, Hoke & Co. sent the right signal.
Also---because he was second-string to GG, I'm certainly not worried about PK lacking "pushing" from competition, with GG out of the pic; PK was having to work hard to move up in any case...and I have to believe he'll continue working at least as hard, now that the center job could be his to lose.
