| Some think he had three turnovers this week. Well, the INT should/could have been caught. A little high but right through the receivers hands. On Darboh's fumble, he was clearly down. And what what Shallman doing on the kick return?
Speaking of Darboh, how many times is he going to get in the way of Norfleet trying to field a short punt? Saw it at least three times yesterday.

Our punt return unit on Saturday looked like a middle school team. Multiple people trying to field the ball. Ugh. _________________ "I don't get sick. I don't observe major holidays. | I don't get the OP. Sure Gardner is not THE problem but he is part of it. He is one of the main contributors of our turnover issues. He was lucky he didn't get one picked early against Miami. That guy should have been able to make that catch. The one pass to Chesson was high and in traffic. He's lucky he didn't get him killed. I thought for sure he had a broken rib. Yes the pass was catchable BUT he put Chesson in a real bad spot.
Against ND he looked like he was playing scared. He made some poor decisions and ND capitalized on it.
I am not saying bench Gardner or blame him for all of our issues. I am saying he his part of the problem.

I am not saying bench Gardner or blame him for all of our issues. I am saying he his part of the problem. I agree with you. I was shocked against Notre Dame that with a fifth year QB, they weren't throwing down the field at all. I also think that last year, after his early season turnover blitz, the offense had to go into a shell for most of the season. He's definitely got some positives, but I don't think he's very good at reading defenses or decision-making. He's nowhere near the biggest problem on the team, but as a fifth year senior, you would expect him to be one of the stars of the team, and that's definitely not the case. He's still a better option than Morris this year though. He had a couple of stellar games last year, and I'm sure that will be the case again, but I believe they'll be several stinkers in there too.

| Just bumping this for laughs. We all could use a good one right now. | |

| I highly regard DG as a student, which is more important than sports.... but he seems just not to be able to handle the responsibility of being a major college QB.... other than the buckeye game last year and maybe the ND game he has not proved he can rise to that next level and carry the team to victory when others are not capable | |
