While neither I nor [m]any of you are proud of a fellow LATE alum who may be in the MLB record books for "second" chances as a relief pitcher, ever hear of this?

"This is your last chance. And I'm not talking about one of those Major League Baseball Steve Howe kind of last chances.” --Leslie Nielsen to Anna Nicole Smith in "The Naked Gun 33-1/3".

HOW LONG, fellow Bluebloods, before some producer writes a script that goes something like this?

--Joe Doaks to John Smith, on finding him a taker for a special assignment who's a "good fit" for the job:

"Just GET ME somebody. And a good fit. Just a good fit...doesn't have to be a "BRADY-HOKE-AS-MICHIGAN-FOOTBALL-COACH" fit, just a good one."

Even though Michigan is known world-wide, I don't see that ever happening. 1.) Because as a Coach, Brady Hoke isn't the house-hold name to the same extent as a player would be, and 2.) Movies are no longer "stupid-funny" like Naked Gun 33-1/3.

Maybe true, Sandy---- by the standards this old fart grew up with,
movies nowadays are just plain STUPID...far more often than not.

Little intrigue, few thought processes required: just lots and lots
of flesh, gore, blood, guts and rage.

OK, sorry. Rant for the day.

WHO'S NEXT on the list (of 4/5 stars), coach Hoke? Jeez, what a weekend!

Even though I am younger I also find todday's movies/music/what-not dumb. However, you must admitt, Naked Gun 33-1/3 was stupid. Of course I'm the same guy who walked out of Dumb & Dumber after 20 minutes because it was so incrediblky stupid IMHO.
