Here's the only thing I don't agree with...
...and he would enjoy the benefit of the doubt for at least three years if he went to Ann Arbor. This is in part because he played there, but mostly because he of how much he’s succeeded elsewhere...something tells me the fans would be upset if we're not legit contenders for the division in two years. Especially given the talent that the fans know is there. That's not to say I think they would run him out of town. I'm not saying that at all. I'm just saying three years seems a bit to long. But maybe I'm one of those crazies that think we should be competing year in and year out.
I also liked how his options are broken down. Very simple and to the point....
"...Right now his options are threefold. He can sign a new deal with the 49ers and come back to a locker room that’s apparently turned on him (not likely), he can go to a disastrous situation like New York or Oakland (somehow, most likely), or he can go to Michigan..." it sounds so simple. Right?
