but now I've got to hear it for an entire year from my O$U coworker.... not one cass tech kid to UM or MSU.

Who has really been a stud from Cass Tech? Cissoko? Nope. I can't think of any.

Vernon Gholston was a stud at Ohio State from Cass Tech and Barksdale was a third round pick put of LSU that is a Cass Tech guy. While not a lot certainly however 2 in state kids that have to stay home. It is going to be hard to beat Meyer on name recognition alone. It will take wins and alot of them for kids to stay in state. The bottom line is that winning cures all.

regardless of who has been a stud or not, my gripe is about losing the fight for you own backyard. but you want some examples I'll go back the last 4 or 5 classes off the top of my head.


could definitely have used weber in our class. Alabi is a wash for me but only because we flipped Johnson. Should have never got to that point though.

damon webb was pretty good last year. he's gonna be good for O$U.

I still think Dawson, Lewis and Hill will prove to be key players for UM in the next two years.

RJS will be used quite a bit this year.

never liked Terry Richardson and made it very very clear.

Dior Mathis turned out to be pretty good for Oregon.

Say what you want about BWC, I really liked how he fought through it. You don't make it to NFL for nothing.

Well we had Cass Tech pretty much locked down and what did that get us???? As Fish pointed out who has been good that came from there? You answer with mostly guys that haven't seen the field. Status quo is not what we want.

If we start winning again who the hell cares where the players are coming from. I could careless if we get another kid from Michigan. We have owned the state of Michigan for years. What's are record vs Dantonio?

It amazes me sometimes the things choose to waste their energy on. So what if your freind is bragging about getting a kid from Cass Tech. I live in Ohio. They have plenty of ammo on us without recruiting. Who cares? Just win.

Jayru Campbell is from Cass Tech. Need I say more? We're fine at RB, as long as Michigan gets a stud next year...

Just read our class is 15th in the country by avg. star ranking. Harbaugh had about 2 weeks to put this together. Still. People want to find something to bitch about.
