I know Ross said earlier that he would not get in the way of Jim coming to Michigan. That was before his team took a slide. He is now confirming Philbin will be back another year.

Glazer is also reporting that the Niners will be letting Jim go shortly after the season.

49er letting Jimmy go is a bad thing the one good thing that michigan had was that 49er would trade him and want something in return If Jimmy is a free agent then any other NFL team would go after him.

Jay Glazer is reporting that SF will cut Harbaugh loose within 24 - 48 hours after sunday. Does that mean they try to shop him or just fire him? I don't know.
