| How can you guys even question me Gardner was a turnover machine , who missed wide open guys all year he is mostly the reason Michigan went 5-7 and you think this would have been worse with a different QB did you watch the season | |

| I have not given up on Morris, but he clearly wasn't ready this year, and the prior regime would have never gotten him ready. With JH, who knows? At least he'll get better. | |

| I have not given up on Morris but I am highly skeptical of him. I'm a broken record but when has he ever looked good except in camps where he apparently wowed scouts? He was not superior in HS and in the bowl game he dinked and dunked for something like 5 yd per attempt and put up 6 pts total before the last minute TD.
At this point I think he is an example of a guy who looks the part, has the physical tools but can't put it together, I'd rather have a guy who can actually play. Brian Griese was a preferred walk-on, undersized, average arm at best, not fleet of foot but he could play.

| It will be interesting what Jim or whoever will be Morris' coach can do with the kid. Obviously Nuss didn't do much to help him out. Maybe the next coach will make him better, I'm hoping, anyway. | |

Jim is working with the QBs and its going to be interesting to see if Shane can improve and if he can come through when it matters | |

| OK, I figured it would be Jim to coach QB's, wasn't sure. In that case I definitely won't give up on Shane then. If Jim can't help him, I'm not sure anybody could. | |
