Defense wins championships

Offense woke up in 2nd half, did enough to win. Chesson & Drake Johnson looked fantastic on their TD run/catch. A healthy Johnson looks like he'll make a big impact. Rudock still misses wide open WRs downfield, seems like he holds onto ball to long. Isaac didn't have a good day, fumble & roughing the punter.

BUT DEFENSE WINS TITLES!!!! Yes Maryland isn't a great team, but how def. shut them down was fantastic. Love how defense stays aggressive even after game had been decided. Just 210yds of total offense in 2 games is incredible. How defense has played in last 4 games is incredible.

Looks like def. will be needed again vs Northwestern. I'm guessing Ojemudia will not play next week, he'll be missed. Hopefully Stribling will be back.

Any word in Ojemudia?

On MGoBlog it says Achilles injury ... if true he is done for the year

^I believe it. He could not put any weight on his leg. Not good.

Same with Smith. I fear both will miss a lot of time. I know Jim was really downplaying Smiths injury but then he did not travel. I would be shocked if he is not at least 4 weeks.
