Sick as we all are of that reminder, and silly acronym---rampant in football---for the last-second, improbable pass completion, could we be about to have a secondone foisted on us?  As in, the Michigan Miracle of Sefu Liufau <going down injured>?

It wouldn't surprise anyone, would it?  Considering the media chooses that one (1994) game from the five times we have played (and beaten 4) Colorado...

In seriousness, it was a very bad, unfortunate thing that happened to QB Liufau...in light not only of his superb play to that point, but also of fact he'd had the foot injury in '15 and worked so hard to come back from it...

...but injuries are part of the game.  (See: LEWIS, Jourdan;  CHARLTON, Taco).

Yes, it works both ways.  Does anyone think CU has the same success on alltheir long completions with our All-American back there deep?

not worried defensively unless Lewis has a long term injury ... however offensively there are problems... Speight did well moving around making plays but he still has no consistency throwing the long ball ... as well he has no zip on his throws which almost resulted in a couple of ints... as for the OL , the less said the better ... watching a very young buckeye team destroy OKL shows that this team needs to keep improving every week

BoLeach, I'm not convinced OSU defeated (by virtually our same score) a tougher opponent than we did. Bob Stoops' OU program is annually the nation's most overrated, overblown and over-hyped.
You can call that my opinion---but all I need do is Google up Sooner scores of the last 10-15 years to back it up with facts. Colorado (with a healthy Liufau) is a strong opponent, with lots of enthusiasm and plenty of speed.

OSU impressive with 16 new starters?  Unquestionably. But worthy of instant coronation as the BCS champion at this early date???

I highly question your statement that OU is the most overrated team every year. Perhaps your are forgetting about Notre Dame?

Notre Dame lost to Texas and sparty, Oklahoma lost to ohio state and Houston. Texas blows and despite spartys dominance of Notre Dame I still say that sparty isn't that great. Meanwhile ohio state appears to be the real deal (I hate to admit it) and Houston looks quite formidable as well. Oklahoma losing is much more understandable than Notre Dame. Texas, they lost to Cal. king

Hey MichMike never meant to infer that I think Buckeyes will be champs ... just that they won impressively in a hostile environment ... overrated or not it is tough to go to Norman with a hostile crowd at night and totally outclass the Sooners ...
