cant believe these guys can not make free throws they make them in high school. Guys you know and i know how much we like this team but to be honest i hope they don't make the NCAA they will be drove right out of the gym against real teams

Fish, I'm glad SOMEONE had the common sense to assert as much.  There is one and only one way to win at ANY sport or game: OUTPLAY YOUR OPPONENT.

And considering only one "stat" really counts at the end of the day/contest, the same holds true whether you play BETTER or--for lack of better phraseology--"LESS BADLY" than he/she/they.

Look, I am just sick of the absolutely shitty free throw shooting. Games will be lost. This should have been an easy win. Pretty soon, Matthews and Simpson will be worthless late in close games. Anytime they get fouled on offense, it's equivalent to a turnover. Frustration wells up once in awhile.

Huge win. With 4 of the last 6 on the road and nothing easy, being 8-4 vs 7-5 is very big. We rebounded great and again did not turn the ball over, those 2 strengths were enough to overcome all of our shortcomings.

By the way Duke lost yesterday to a St Johns team that had lost 11(eleven) in a row.

They never quit, but are making things harder than need be. Even when playing shitty (minus Nebraska), they stay close.
