| Up at 4:15 this morning to watch coverage of The Open (British) championship. My dog looked at me- like-"what are you doing up so early"? It's my favorite golf tournament to watch, love having a mug of hot coffee and watching the best in the world go at it. | |

Maybe, maybe not. Recent years also include talk of tech cheating, such as small, virtually undetectable electric motors. Even so, drugs or not, riding 65-140 miles per day, some days on cobblestones at 25-28 mph, climbing 15,000 feet, and hitting +55 mph on descents, and doing it for 21 days, demands tremendous skill and guts, whether the performance is enhanced, or not. I'm ecstatic when I get over 16 mph average on my relatively short, flat rides. | |
