Looks like the talk that he was getting close was real. Depth needed in the B1G to prevent player wear and tear. It's been a healthy year but you never know.

Nice to have depth that can step in like that. He's probably not completely ready but you can see the quality and potential is there. quality depth makes all the difference. See the UM Oline of the past decade for proof.

Just got back from game. This may prove to be be very significant for the rest of the season if he can continue to be an important part of the rotation. Great contribution today especially with Livers out again.

Another great job by the coaches to bring a kid along and get him ready. Not quite there yet but a huge contribution yesterday. These coaches really know how to make great kids even greater (see Poole, Mathews, Livers Simpson) and now Johns and to make ok kids very good (see Teske and to a lesser degree Davis) They do this year after year.
